It all started when…
I was working as a software engineer at REI, troubleshooting customer experiences and wondering what would’ve happened if the page was simply designed differently. Changing my career from software engineering to UX design took a lot of guts and determination, but I found myself spending my evenings reading about various design programs.
A year later, I enrolled at the University of Washington, where I took on interesting assignments, collaborated with diverse groups, and successfully completed several challenging industry projects (even winning 1st prize in the Microsoft Imagine Cup).
Fast forward to today, I design modern interactions in a highly regulated industry. Designing with such constraints has led me to seek creative ways to solve problems, empathize with users, and create designs that simplify tasks (and even save lives!). I’m a strong advocate for user research and believe in making informed design decisions backed by data.
For my next adventure, I would love to be a part of a team that is customer focused, and values simplicity both in design and aesthetics. On a personal note, I’m passionate about movies, saving the environment, and creating mood boards for design inspiration.
